Your Teen's and 20's come with lots of change.
Whether anxiety is taking up more space, life feels in flux, or you’re wanting a deeper sense of direction - therapy can offer room to slow down, reflect, and move forward with more clarity.
You don’t need to wait for a crisis to seek support.
Therapy can be a proactive space to slow down and recalibrate.
If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for a consultation is a simple place to start:
A therapist and Registered Social Worker (BSW, MSW, RSW) based in Toronto. I provide virtual therapy for individuals aged 16-30 in Ontario, and limited in-person services in Toronto's East End.
With me, therapy is a collaborative space where we can identify the patterns keeping you stuck and develop practical ways to move forward. My work is active and conversational - less about passive listening, and more about working together to identify and establish goals, and move towards them.
It’s a collaborative process of understanding what’s happening beneath the surface and developing tools that support meaningful change in everyday life. In therapy, the work often includes:
My approach draws predominantly from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and a relational, strengths-based framework. Sessions are paced collaboratively and shaped around what feels most useful to the person in the room.

The name Upwell is inspired by the ocean's natural process of upwelling- where deeper waters rise to the surface, carrying nutrients that support renewal and growth.
I believe this reflects what often happens in therapy: The process of thoughts, emotions, and patterns coming to the surface, and creating space for clarity, connection, and meaningful change.
It's also a nod to my Nova Scotia roots and love for the ocean.
Upwell Therapy is located on the traditional territory of many Nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples.
This land, known as Tkaronto, remains home to many Indigenous, Métis, and Inuit communities.
We are grateful to live, learn, work, and play on this land and are committed to ongoing learning, respect, and reconciliation.
